Meet Sean Birchard
Founder & CEO
Sean Birchard brings together hands-on small-business bookkeeping experience, formal Accounting Technology education, QuickBooks certification, and a practical understanding of what business owners need most: clean records, clear reporting, and financial organization that makes sense.
His bookkeeping experience began through years of supporting a Florida-based international business with day-to-day financial organization, tax-time records, receipts, reports, and the practical details that keep a business running. That work gave him a close view of how much time bookkeeping can take away from owners who are already managing clients, schedules, vendors, and daily operations.
Sean completed formal Accounting Technology studies in 2019, with training in practical bookkeeping, payroll basics, tax fundamentals, Excel, and financial reporting. His QuickBooks certification was earned during that foundation and renewed in 2026 to stay aligned with current bookkeeping tools and workflows.
While completing the JAX Bridges Entrepreneurial Growth program at the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Sean had the opportunity to work alongside small business owners and freelancers from across Northeast Florida. Listening to their challenges firsthand — cash flow confusion, tax surprises, books that hadn't been touched in months — made one thing clear: most small businesses don't fail because of bad work. They fail because the numbers aren't under control. That experience, combined with over a decade managing the finances of a Florida-based international business, became the foundation for Reliable Figures — bookkeeping built specifically for the people who are too busy doing the work to worry about the books.
Today, Reliable Figures focuses on helping contractors, trades, home-service professionals, freelancers, and small businesses gain clarity, reduce financial stress, and build better systems for the future.
